1 in 4 children across the island of Ireland is now overweight or obese, so safefood’s latest chapter in the ongoing childhood obesity campaign is trying to help parents break the bad habits they have developed by recognising, limiting and reducing the amount of unhealthy treats their kids are consuming.
This work is inspired by recent safefood research which revealed the massive and growing problem of repetitive ‘invisible treating’, with treats becoming part of the daily routine and many kids getting a treat at least once a day or more.
This important campaign was rolled out on TV, radio, OOH at key purchase points, social and digital; playful execution with a serious but helpful message.
