Two Irish SMEs, Harry’s Nut Butter and Sugar Plum Sweetery, have been named as the winners of the second annual Taste of TV fund, a partnership between Sky Media and Love Irish Food that is aimed at helping Irish food and drink brands grow through TV advertising.
Both brands will receive advertising packages worth €50,000 each, including the production of a professionally made television commercial and a fully funded TV advertising campaign.
The initiative represents a doubling of the fund compared with its first year, with Sky Media and Love Irish Food selecting two winners for 2026.
The campaigns for Harry’s Nut Butter and Sugar Plum Sweetery are due to launch later this year.
Harry’s Nut Butter was founded by Harry Colley, while Sugar Plum Sweetery was co-founded by Denise Buckley and David Quirke. Both businesses are members of Love Irish Food, the organisation that supports Irish food and drink brands.
The Taste of TV initiative was developed to give smaller Irish brands access to television advertising and professional creative production that might otherwise be beyond their marketing budgets.
As part of the €50,000 package, each winner will have a TV commercial produced on its behalf before receiving a funded advertising campaign across Sky Media inventory.
The initiative forms part of a wider effort by Sky Media and Love Irish Food to demonstrate how television advertising can help emerging Irish brands build awareness and reach new consumers.
