Bloom has launched a new campaign for the French car maker Citroen. The campaign went live on radio, press, digital and TV this month.
“As well as its famous French sense of style, the Citroen brand is all about comfort,” says Cathal Kealey, head of marketing, Citroen Ireland.
“As a loyal cohort of Irish drivers know, down through the years the Citroen engineers have been famous for developing advanced comfort technology features such as the ground-breaking progressive hydraulic cushion suspension and the more recent advanced comfort seating with an extra layer of memory foam. Extra leg room in the back seats also makes a big difference. All of these features and more add up to make the Citroen driving experience very comfortable indeed. Bloom really have brought this position to life, in a unique Irish way,” he says.
“The Gowan Group secured the distribution rights for Citroen in Ireland recently. We see it as a brand with a lot of potential to grow, which is why we are investing in this campaign to build the brand for the future,” he adds.
“We are delighted to be working with Citroen. They are a great challenger brand with an amazing heritage,” says David Quinn, managing partner at Bloom. “The car market in Ireland is speaking with one voice at the moment. Most of the communications in the sector for competing brands blend into one another making it difficult for the consumer to really tell them apart. Citroen have a clear brand proposition and really want to stand out from the crowd. Exactly the kind of challenger brand that we love to work with. We see this campaign as the start of a long journey together.”
