As 2018 is the tenth anniversary of the Research Excellence Awards, to mark the occasion, an inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to industry veteran Robin Addis.

For the first time, in a European collaboration between the Marketing Society of Ireland and ESOMAR, the 2018 Grand Prix winner will address the prestigious ESOMAR Congress in 2019.

The awards were presented by Dr Kate Ui Ghallachior, Chair of the adjudication panel and Head of the School of Marketing at the Dublin Institute of Technology.

According to Avril Collins, Chair of the Marketing Society and Director at Murray: “Building on a track record stemming back ten years ago, it is a pleasure to see the research excellence awards continue to go from strength to strength. I am particularly honoured to introduce the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award to recognise the contribution of a luminary of the industry. Mr. Robin Addis is a deserving recipient and I heartily congratulate him on this well-deserved accolade.”
