Ireland’s leading property website Daft.ie has launched a new Luas stop-by-stop interactive house price maps and neighbourhood guides in association with TheJournal.ie and sponsored by KBC Bank.

The first of its kind interactive map which is available on both mobile and desktop platforms and will arm property hunters with invaluable information about the connectivity of neighbourhoods along both the green and red lines.  Users will now be able to click on any Luas stop to view average house prices in the area as well as linking through to in-depth neighbourhood guides that are produced and housed on TheJournal.ie.

The campaign was planned by Mediaworks and also sees a fully wrapped KBC Luas hitting the streets to promote the new launch.

According to Caroline Donnelan, head of marketing & communications at KBC Bank Ireland: “KBC is delighted to partner with Journal Media and Daft.ie, through the launch of the new interactive Luas maps and neighbourhood guides. The interactive maps combine both house prices and neighbourhood guides, allowing consumers and property hunters the opportunity to view the communities of the Luas lines as well as find out more about house prices and the neighbourhoods they have an interest in. As a digital first bank, KBC likes to provide access to these new and innovative technologies. We are very excited to be involved in this first of its kind initiative that’s available on your mobile device.”

Cameron McDonnell, Sales Strategy Director at Journal Media adds: “It’s really great to work on a media product that adds real value to the users. In this case, we were able to bring to life the hugely popular Luas & Dart Daft.ie report and allow users to interact with the data in a way that is useful and interactive. Our partnership with KBC goes from strength to strength and it’s really exciting to work with such an innovative brand that has the same belief, that by creating real value for users, we can create powerful advertising campaigns that connect with our audiences.”

Orlagh Keane, Senior Account Manager, Source out of home: “This campaign was truly a collaborative effort. We were excited to work closely with JCDecaux and the various other stakeholder partners to deliver an integrated cross-media solution for KBC. Our Pinpoint mapping tool and iQ audience insights were instrumental in constructing a location appropriate OOH campaign. This data-led, tailored approach resulted in an efficient and effective OOH element to the campaign.”
