Sports Broadcaster Oisin Langan Joins Wilson Hartnell

Oisin Langan, the well-known sports broadcaster has joined Wilson Hartnell’s sports marketing and sponsorship practice. In his new role, Langan will lead on strategy and content development across a number of leading Irish and International brands.

A native of Waterford, he joins Wilson Hartnell from Newstalk, where he spent over a decade as a sports broadcaster with the Off the Ball and Newstalk’s breakfast programmes. His coverage of the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio De Janeiro earned him Best Paralympic Games Radio Coverage at the OCS Irish Paralympic Awards. More recently, he worked as Off the Ball’s senior reporter during the launch of its innovative breakfast show OTB AM, which is streamed live across its social media channels.

Prior to joining Newstalk, he worked with Red FM in Cork as sports editor, where he was the youngest ever recipient of the prestigious Radio Sports Broadcaster of the Year award.
