TV3 has bagged Domino’s as its exclusive sponsor for one of its flagship programmes for 2018, Ireland’s Got Talent.

The multi-platform sponsorship deal will include broadcast and digital sponsorship, social media, product placement and a multiplatform promotion.  It also includes the sponsorship of the spin-off show Ireland’s Got Mór Talent which will air following the main show on TV3 and will be fronted by Glenda Gilson and social media influencer James Kavanagh.

The show will kick off on Saturday, February 3rd and will be presented by Lucy Kennedy while the line-up of judges includes Louis Walsh, Michelle Visage, Jason Byrne and Denise Van Outen.

According to Tony Holdway, Sales & Marketing Director at Domino’s:  “2017 was a big year for Domino’s with the introduction of our ‘The Official Food of Everything’ campaign. We are delighted to kick off 2018 with the sponsorship of Ireland’s Got Talent in partnership with the TV3 Group, bringing yet another premium programme to your screens and being The Official Food of Saturday Nights in with the Fam. Such get-togethers are key for Domino’s and we’re proud to sponsor a programme that brings everyone together in front of the TV to relax and share in the fun of seeing Ireland’s best talent perform.”

The sponsorship deal was brokered by GroupM’s Mindshare and according to Des Dockery, senior client manager: “Sponsorship of Ireland’s Got Talent is yet again another example of Domino’s support of home produced content building on the back of product placement within Gogglebox over its three series to date. Partnering with Virgin Media on Ireland’s Got Talent ensures that we are reaching our audience on a weekly basis with programming that is likely to create numerous talking points on the night and throughout the week both on-air and online and we are looking forward to seeing the talent our shores have to offer.”

Sarah Geoghegan, brand partnerships account manager with Virgin Media Solutions adds: “TV3 is delighted to welcome Dominos on board as partner for Ireland’s Got Talent. Ireland’s Got Talent is TV3 Groups biggest investment in entertainment to date and it’s great to have Domino’s on board as the #OfficialFoodofTalent.”
