Following one of the biggest pitches of the year so far, Mediavest has been appointed by Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard as its agency of record.
The appointment follows a four-way pitch that included Havas Media, Mindshare and the incumbent Vizeum. The pitch process was managed by FLE Marsh.
Brands within the Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard portfolio include Jameson, Powers, Absolut Vodka, Malibu and Jacob’s Creek. In 2016 their total media spend in the Republic of Ireland was €2.6m according to AC Nielsen.
