An Post’s Admailer.ie Wins Major International Awards

An Post clinched two of the top nine awards at the finals of the World Post & Parcel Awards which were held in Paris. In the company of global titans such as Amazon, DHL and Canada Post An Post’s mail marketing product Admailer.ie picked up the awards for best in Ecommerce and Innovation.

Within two of the most competitive categories AdMailer.ie beat off tough competition from international giants such as Deutsche Post DHL and Swiss Mail to complete ‘the double’.

AdMailer.ie is a self-service direct marketing digital platform available to all businesses in Ireland. Unlike any other marketing service, AdMailer.ie results in high quality mail media campaigns, individually addressed and posted to a select and data-enriched prospect base, all created online and all delivered by An Post.

According to Fiona Heffernan, Head of Post Media at An Post: “This is a great achievement for An Post – most particularly in these important and competitive categories – as we continue work on our future Strategy and direction for the business. Advertising Mail is one of the important future growth opportunity areas for us to help offset traditional mails decline. It’s a powerful tool that drives high street retail and online shopping, keeping mail relevant and resulting in more parcel deliveries. Another positive is that we have already received interest from some international operators regarding our newly developed AdMailer.ie software”.

Speaking about AdMailer, international judge Jean-Paul Forceville from Le Groupe La Poste added, “this entry showed that by combining the ease of digital access with the power of physical mail, direct mail has a future in our increasingly digital world. Their proposition provides organisations of any size with access to an online, self-service, geo-targeted precision marketing tool that allows them to grow their business through mail marketing.”
