Ahead of next week’s All Ireland Marketing Awards, the Marketing Institute of Ireland has announced that Fiona Dawson of Mars is the recipient of the 2017 All Ireland Marketing Champion award.
Dawson is global president of Mars Food, Drinks, and Multisales and is a member of the Mars Incorporated Leadership Team, which oversees sales in excess of $35 billion and 10 billion-dollar brands.
A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, she had a long career with Mars, having joined the company after graduating from college and has served in a number of key roles, including general manager of its Irish operations and president of Mars Global Retail.
A family-owned business, Mars has over 80,000 staff worldwide, operates in 78 countries and is structured around six business segments: Petcare, Chocolate, Wrigley, Food, Drinks, and Symbioscience.
