This award will see Love Irish Food member McCambridge Bread receive €70,000 worth of OOH advertising space from Exterion Media in addition to a €10,000 creative bursary provided by Owens DDB.

The extensive out-of-home campaign will appear nationally for two weeks across Exterion Media’s PurchasePoints retail portfolio and across its premium digital OOH retail network. Love Irish Food and Exterion will also mentor McCambridge Bread and help it plan the campaign to ensure it delivers the optimum results for its business.

McCambridge Bread is an Irish owned bread maker and was established in 1945.

According to Michael McCambridge, a director of the company, “I am absolutely delighted to have won the Love Irish Food Brand Development Award. It very important for our brand to be associated with Love Irish Food and the great work they do showcasing quality Irish food brands that are made in Ireland. We are confident that the Out-of-Home campaign from Exterion Media will allow us to reach premium audiences in the shopping environment, help influence brand choice and drive sales of our brand. This award will assist us in achieving our aim of encouraging consumers to eat healthier breads generally and Irish soda/wheaten breads particularly.”

“Throughout the process of selecting a winner for this award we saw huge dedication from all of the shortlisted candidates. We at Love Irish Food are very proud of this initiative and it’s very reflective of the core goal of Love Irish Food as an organisation that is to promote and support Irish manufactured food and drink brands. After due consideration of the very strong entries, the judges felt that McCambridge was the worthy winner,” adds Kieran Rumley, executive director of Love Irish Food.
