Havas Created Ad Campaign Highlights Plight of the Homeless

The Peter McVerry Trust has launched a TV campaign to highlight the growing problem of homelessness in Ireland.

Created by Havas Worldwide in Dublin, the campaign drew in the support from a host of influential names in the Irish creative industry including directors Lenny Abrahamson and Kieron J. Walsh to name just a few.

According to Havas, the whole idea of the ad came from the Cannes Young Lions competition earlier this year, where two young Irish creatives came up with the script for the ad. This won them a place as Irish representatives at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity this Summer. Now, for the first time ever, an Irish submission to the Cannes Young Lions competition has been made into an actual ad and will raise awareness for Peter McVerry Trust.
