TV3 Bag announces Suzuki as Sponsor of The X Factor

It’s that time of the year when Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell return to the nation’s screens every Saturday and Sunday with X Factor and this year TV3, which has the Irish broadcasting rights for show, has bagged Suzuki as its sponsor.

The car brand will sponsor the family entertainment show for one year in a deal that is purported to be worth a significant six figure sum for the Ballymount broadcaster.

The sponsorship was brokered by Supernova, the partnerships arm of the UK media agency the7stars.

The sponsorship will see sponsorship credits in and out of all commercial breaks and pre-roll stings on catch-up episodes of the programme on 3Player and on the Virgin Media Ireland Platform. The partnership will see the launch of a unique tie in featuring legendary X Factor Talent and a series of challenges around the recently-launched Suzuki Swift.

Speaking about the partnership Virgin Media Solutions’ Head of UK Sales, Tim Crane said:“We are delighted to announce Suzuki as the new sponsor of The X Factor, the biggest entertainment show on TV3 this autumn. It’s an incredibly exciting partnership which takes the ‘sponsorship concept’ to a new level of innovation, brand integration and audience engagement.”
