The Public House has been appointed to develop the NSPCA’s 2026 Christmas fundraising campaign following a competitive pitch.
The independent creative agency will lead the campaign’s creative strategy and development, with activity due to launch across social, digital, radio and out-of-home channels at the end of October.
The campaign will seek to raise awareness of the animal welfare organisation’s work and encourage donations during one of its most important fundraising periods.
Alongside rescuing animals affected by cruelty, neglect and abandonment, the NSPCA provides rehabilitation and veterinary care, finds new homes for animals and advocates for stronger animal welfare protections. Its work also includes public education and promoting responsible animal care.
Joanne Farrelly, head of brand, communications and commercial development at the NSPCA, said: “Christmas is one of the most important fundraising periods of the year for the NSPCA. We rely heavily on public support to fund our work for animals across Ireland, so we wanted a campaign that would show the breadth of what we do and, importantly, the difference that every donation can make.
“The Public House demonstrated a strong understanding of both our organisation and what we need this campaign to achieve, and we’re really looking forward to bringing it to life together.”
Kerrie Sweeney, managing director of The Public House, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have won the NSPCA Christmas campaign. The work the organisation does matters enormously and the opportunity to help tell that story comes with real responsibility.
“We were moved by the brief and ambitious about what the campaign could achieve. We can’t wait to bring the idea to life and, most importantly, help drive support for the NSPCA this Christmas.”
