Rothco and AIB to Deliver Cannes Talk on Setting Creativity Free

The Dublin-based creative agency Rothco, together with its client AIB, will deliver a talk at the Cannes Lions Festival in the south of France in two week’s time.

The theme of the talk is “If you love something, set it free” and it will explore how the agency worked with the bank in setting its best creative ideas free when collaborating on AIB’s The Toughest, a key component of its GAA sponsorship.

The talk, which will feature AIB’s CMO Tom Kinsella; Brian Keating, group propositions and brand director and Rothco’s Patrick Ronaldson, will take place in the Debussy Theatre on Saturday, June 7th.

“The last couple of years at Cannes have shown us that those talks that really resonate are those with clients and agencies sharing a journey. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to share the stage with our partner agency Rothco on our own story and the lessons for others to be learned from this,” says Brian Keating.

Rothco’s sister agency Guns or Knives, meanwhile, is scheduled to deliver a workshop entitled “You are Dumber than You Think” and Sarah Walsh and Emer Fitzgerald will explore how people have unplugged from the most important tool of all – our brains-  and how they can reconnect again.

The workshop will take place in the Grand Palais on Tuesday June 20th.
