Electric Media Wins BBC.com Ad Sales Contract

The Electric Media Group has picked up the contract to represent BBC.com in the Irish market.

BBC.com is the digital service, for both web and mobile, of one of the world’s most widely recognised media brands with a combined traffic in Ireland of nearly 30 million page views per month and a reach of over 2 million unique users. The contract was previously held by Adforce.

According to the chairman of Electric Media, Dermot Hanrahan, “The BBC is a premium communication brand commanding worldwide respect and trust and at Electric Media we understand that premium brands like the BBC need the highest standards of representation, and we look forward to providing exactly that for them. BBC.com is a perfect fit and we are delighted to welcome them aboard.”

The Electric Media Group is Ireland’s largest premium digital advertising sales company and includes Yappy, the mobile specialist division, and Media Brokers, a real time bidding service. The company also represent many of Ireland’s largest web and mobile advertising platforms including The Irish Times, MSN, Entertainment.ie, Rollercoaster.ie and Donedeal.ie.
