Ignition Digital Wins at Social Media Marketing Awards in London

Dublin performance marketing agency Ignition Digital won Best Use of Data, Analytics and Measurement at the Social Media Marketing Awards 2026 for its work with Powered Now.

The award is the agency’s first for paid social and follows recognition for the same client partnership at this year’s Global Search Awards.

Elsewhere, Havas Media Ireland received a Highly Commended award in the Paid Social Campaign category for its work with Glenilen Farm, titled “Small Budget, Big Thinking: A Paid Social Growth Engine”. The category winner was Findmypast. Havas was also shortlisted for Social Media Agency of the Year, which was won by Pepper. The Sauce

Organised by Social Day, the ceremony took place aboard the Dixie Queen on London’s River Thames on October 8.

Ignition Digital launched in January 2026 with a focus on paid search and has since been developing its paid social offering alongside its work on Google and Microsoft Ads.

Founder Richie O’Sullivan said the win reflected the development of the agency’s relationship with Powered Now.

“Our first award for paid social means a lot to the team. Earlier this year our work with Powered Now was recognised at the Global Search Awards, so to win again with them, this time on a different channel, is a fair reflection of how the partnership has grown,” he said.

“The approach is the same across both. Start with the data, test properly, and let the results guide the decisions rather than the other way round.

“We’ve been deliberately building out our paid social offering alongside Google and Microsoft Ads this year, and our aim is simple: to be a paid media partner that does strong work wherever the audience is.”

Head of Operations and Business Development Garvan Lawler said: “We’ve had great success in search this year, and to win our first award in social shows our approach is working across multiple channels.”

The agency’s other awards this year include Best Low Budget Campaign (PPC): Small at the Global Search Awards, where it also took silver in Best Use of Search B2B (PPC): Small.

It also won Best Low Budget Campaign (PPC) at the European Search Awards and was named Best Newcomer at the Digital Media Awards in Dublin, where it also received bronze for Best Search Campaign.
