The Lowdown:
safefood's Weigh2live ‘John' campaign, developed by Ogilvy and Mather promotes safefood.eu/weigh2live, the free weight loss website from safefood. The campaign also includes a female execution ‘Elaine'. The campaign is aimed at all adults throughout the Island of Ireland who have some desire to lose weight but who struggle to live up to their ambitions.
‘John', a 40 second execution is humorous and engaging and features our character John, who is clearly overweight. John lives in a bubble of self-deception. Even as we're laughing at his failings we recognise that there's a little bit of all us in this just-slightly-too-overweight character.
