Mobile Advertising Shows Strong Growth

The volume of global mobile advertising last year grew by 41% according to the international mobile media agency BuzzCity which delivers mobile advertising to over 2,000 different publishers around the world.

According to the company it delivered 27.4 billion impressions across 200 countries with some markets, such as Turkey, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Mexico, growing by up to 300%. 

 The most buoyant markets were Indonesia followed by India and South Africa while the USA and Saudi Arabia came next.

BuzzCity chief executive KF Lai said "The only potential threat to further growth is an increase in price of mobile internet, as bandwidth availability reduces. The technology developments and consumer buy-in have meant that mobile advertising is generating real returns for advertisers."
