IDA Seeks Agencies for Roster

IDA Ireland is looking for a number of agencies to become part of a roster to assist it with its overseas advertising and communications strategy over the next four years.

It is understood that that agency, which is responsible for foreign direct investment (FDI) into Ireland, could appoint up to three agencies to the roster to handle media and general communications over the four year period. It is estimated that the value of the contracts are worth in the region of €10m-€15m.

Last year IDA Ireland launched a high profile advertising and marketing campaign which was developed by McConnellsintegrated and was aimed primarily at the North American market. While the North American market will continue to be the main area of focus for IDA Ireland, the agency intends to ramp up its marketing presence in countries like China, India, Germany, the UK and France.
