The Association of Promotional Marketing Consultants has issued a call for entries for the 2010 Star Awards.
The awards are billed as the Oscars of the Irish promotional marketing industry and they generate considerable interest from a wide range of agencies throughout the country.
Honours will be awarded to campaigns across a range of industry categories and will also include special technique categories. The closing date for entries is Wednesday, February 17th.
The awards ceremony will be held on April 16th in The Thomas Prior Hotel, Ballsbridge. MC for the night is popular Today FM DJ Ray Foley.
According to Dave Smyth, chairman of the APMC, the number of entries has risen year on year, with last year's event receiving a record 200 entries. This year has also seen the introduction of three new categories including Best use of a small Budget and Social Media categories.
