Colin Whaley, Sales and Marketing Director for Center Parcs

Chemistry has picked up the creative account for Center Parcs, the  forest park resort which is scheduled to open in 2019.

Starcom, meanwhile, will handle the media buying while Murray and Teneo PSG will handle the corporate and consumer PR elements respectively.

Center Parcs Longford Forest will be the company’s first development outside of the UK and will feature 466 high lodges set within 400 acres of woodland. The resort will also boast an indoor subtropical swimming paradise for weather proof family fun, a lake for water sports, a range of restaurants and shops as well as indoor and outdoor leisure and sports facilities and a range of other activities.

According to Colin Whaley, sales and marketing director for Center Parcs: “We were really impressed with all the agencies that went through the pitch process and are delighted to announce our chosen partners who will embark on this exciting adventure with us. We look forward to a truly collaborative effort with our agencies in Ireland, who together will become a natural extension of our internal team.

“All the agencies showcased impressive strategic thinking and phenomenal creativity. This coupled with the absolute passion they displayed for the brand, gives us great confidence that our new agency partners will pave the way for Center Parcs Longford Forest to quickly become the first choice for Irish families seeking quality family time together and unforgettable short breaks away from the pressures of their busy lives.”
