PML Group, Ireland’s largest Out-of Home [OOH] advertising specialist has made a number of key appointments to its board.

The board appointees include: Geoff Lyons, Managing Director, PML Group; Niamh White, Group Finance Director, PML Group; Darren Jackson, Director, PML Northern Ireland and Karen Claxton, Group Investment Director; PML Group.

Established in 1982, PML Group is the longest established OOH media planning and buying specialist in Ireland, operating from offices in Dublin and Belfast with 45 employees. The group comprises: PML, Source out of home, Design+, Liveposter and the Poster Audit Bureau.  Acquired by Posterscope Worldwide in 2015, PML Group accounts for 61 per cent of the OOH market in the ROI and 68 per cent share in Northern Ireland.

According to Chief Executive Officer, Jimmy Cashen: “These appointments reflect the Group’s commitment to a dynamic Ireland-led team whose experience and local market insight will form the basis for a new wave of growth and innovation for the company. I am very pleased to welcome my colleagues to the Executive Board.”

Geoff Lyons, Managing Director, PML Group added: “Today’s appointments are a very strong endorsement of the local team and a signal of PML Group’s intent to grow and develop talent that combines market insight and presence with increasingly dynamic and data-driven OOH platforms.  Indeed our own exclusive Posterwatch market review published earlier this month shows that in a modestly rising Outdoor market, Digital accounted for 15% of all OOH advertising in 2017, a trend we see accelerating in 2018 and beyond.”
