Future Council Event to Discuss Building Your Career

Continuing with its series of inspiring and relevant events the Marketing Society Future Council is hosting their next evening event ‘Bricking It: Building Your Career’ in Foleys’ Bar, Merrion Row on Thursday the 16th November at 6pm.

Leaders from across the marketing industry will share their personal stories of success and most importantly impart the knowledge they have gained as well as the tools and approaches they used to get ahead and succeed in the workplace. Speakers include Fiona Sweeney, Strategic Marketing Director for Kerry, Orlaith Blaney, Chief Communications and Marketing Officer for Ervia, and Jules Fallon, Founder and Managing Director of 1st Options.

The event not only represents a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable skills for developing your own career but also is an opportunity to meet and chat with your relevant peers across the industry.

With a representative group in place, the Council counts Aoife Marron from RED C, Karen Sheehan from Novartis, Cian Keogh of Aer Lingus, Caroline Shesgreen of Mediavest, Mary Sheahan from MCCP, Karen Sheehan from Novartis and Gavin Carberry of RTÉ as its members.

Working alongside the General Council, the Future Council also support the Council in delivering high calibre events that appeal to marketers at all levels and assist with the development of the society’s digital offering, including its online database of case studies and talks.
