Vocal Creates VR Experience for Irish Heart Foundation

Minister for Health, Simon Harris, launched The Irish Heart Foundation’s new campaign, ‘Feel the Pulse’, at the recent Ploughing Championships. The new campaign encourages people to check their pulse rate regularly to identify irregularities and central to its launch was a 360 Virtual Reality experience called ‘ATRIA -A Journey Into Your Heart’, created by the Dublin-based marketing agency Vocal.

The VR experience teaches people about atrial fibrillation and how it can be treated to prevent a clot, a stroke or death.

An incredibly important initiative in health education, the Minister was joined by the President of Irish Heart Foundation Declan Sugrue, Chief Medical Director at Pfizer Healthcare, Declan O’Callaghan and Vocal’s Chief Operating Officer Vocal Paul Bridgeman, to embrace and experience the innovative campaign.

“Vocal are delighted to continue to work so closely with Pfizer, Bristol Myers Squib and The Heart Foundation to bring innovation and creativity together to deliver an augmented reality experience that educates people about Atrial Fibrillation and, ultimately, spreads the important message of the ‘Feel the Pulse Campaign,” says Paul Bridgeman.
