MEC Wavemaker (MEC’s content centric client offering) in partnership with RTÉ’s branded content team, RTÉ Create, has launched a media first in the content space in Ireland that will see Carr’s Crackers partner with the new food series, Chef Adrian Eats Ireland to be launched exclusively on RTÉ Player.

Feeding Ireland’s obsession with food and eating out, Chef Adrian Eats Ireland is dedicated to finding the best restaurant dishes in Ireland, and showing you how to make them at home and features chef Adrian Martin.

The new series will launch as a six part online exclusive show on RTÉ Player in May.

According to MEC’s Deputy Managing Director Aoife Hofler: “We are hugely excited to launch this media first for Carr’s. Our Wavemaker team have spent the past few months working closely with Chef Adrian and RTÉ and we believe this is a strong exciting new platform that will deliver our objectives for Carr’s in 2017.”

Welcoming the announcement, Cara Doyle from RTÉ Create said, “We are delighted to work with Carr’s & MEC as a content partner on this unique campaign. The Chef Adrian Eats Ireland original series is an exciting development in digital content creation. The series will launch on RTÉ Player with support across multiple RTÉ platforms including RTÉ.ie, TV, Print & Social.”

“We are delighted to be participating in this AFP opportunity with RTÉ Create & Chef Adrian. Carr’s is all about quality and taste, aptly embodied by Chef Adrian as the face of the programme. We are confident this partnership will further reinforce our brand credentials and continue to provide inspiration to our growing base of loyal Carr’s consumers,” says Niamh Twyford, Head of Marketing, Carr’s.
