Havas Media Acquires AXA Account

graham taylor-headshotHavas Media Ireland has picked up the AXA media account for both the Republic and the North of Ireland as part of a global realignment. The account was previously with Mindshare.

According to Havas Media CEO Graham Taylor: “Havas Media is delighted to have secured the AXA account which is a very significant development for us and we are looking forward to working together with the AXA marketing team to develop new consumer insights and strategies which will contribute to the continued success of the AXA brand in what has become a very challenging environment in Ireland.”

According to Taylor this recent development is the latest in what has been a very successful period for Havas since its launch in Ireland two years ago.

“This year alone we have secured over 20 new accounts including AXA, JDE brands, Kenco Coffee and Tassimo, and Swarovski which together with the Hyundai Ireland account, which recently moved to Havas, will increase our billings by 45%.”

“Havas Media has advanced significantly both in terms of scale and talent in 2016 with senior appointments in the Digital, Trading, Strategy and Insight teams. We have seen a150% uplift in our digital business this year, reflecting the success we have had with our PPC, SEO, Content and Programmatic offerings both with existing clients and in winning performance orientated clients and we are well positioned for strong growth in this space.”

To facilitate its recent growth, the agency recently moved offices to larger new premises on Baggot Street, Dublin 2.
