MEC Launches Content Marketing First for Yoplait

ilovemyageportraits-8855The Dublin agency MEC has created a new content marketing campaign for its client General Mills, owner of the Yoplait brand.

Called “I Love My Age” the content revolves around interviews with Irish people about their age and what it actually means to them.

In mid-September, a group of Irish people of various ages were invited to an event at the Aviva stadium to celebrate their age and talk about what it is they love about their individual ages.  According to Aoife Hofler, deputy managing director of MEC, throughout the day, these people shared their stories and ranging from life hacks to words of wisdom and emotional tales of joy. By the end of the day, however, it transpired that every age is in fact the best age and that when it boils down to it age is just a number. It’s not how old you are, it’s how you feel, said Hofler.

On the day, MEC in conjunction with media partner INM captured an enormous amount of rich audio and visual content, which will be seeded out across social and media platforms over the coming months.
