The country manager of Coca Cola Ireland, Aedamar Howlett has been appointed as marketing director of the company’s UK and Irish operations.
Howlett has been with the company since last year, having spent a number of years priort to this running her own marketing consultancy business, Spark Plug Solutions which worked with companies like Heinken, Telefonica and Kellog’s.
Prior to the consultancy’s establishment, she held the role of country head of Coca Cola in Ireland having joined the marketing department of the soft drinks manufacturer in the early 1990s. During her early days with the company she worked as brand manager and later its head of business development and innovation.
According to Jon Woods, general manager of Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland said: “Aedamar brings to the role a wealth of marketing experience having held senior roles across many of our brands and has run the business in Ireland. She will be real asset to the business and we look forward to her joining the team.”
A native of Dublin, she holds a degree in economics and marketing from Trinity College Dublin.
