Rebellion-Key-Art-Elizabeth-landscapeGervaise Slowey, CEO of Communicorp; Michelle Lee, Director of Marketing and Guest Experience at Aer Lingus and Sharon Walsh, Marketing Director of Heineken Ireland will address the Marketing Society’s upcoming member’s seminar on Thursday, June 16th to discuss ‘brand building in a connected world’.

Gervaise Slowey will explore how to make brands matter in the boardroom while Michelle Lee will talk about the challenges of brand building to compete with a “Goliath.” For her part, Sharon Walsh will reveal her thoughts behind banning the word ‘digital’ from marketing.

Michael Clancy, Chair of the Marketing Society and MD of Mediavest, said: “Our speakers have brought about great change within their own organisations and will be sharing with Marketing Society members their forthright advice on brand building in challenging business environments.  This event is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated seminars this year.  As it’s exclusive to members of the Marketing Society, plus a guest, it will be a superb showcase for the Marketing Society’s voluntary role of advancing thought leadership amongst Ireland’s marketing community,” says Michael Clancy, Chair of the Marketing Society and MD of Mediavest.

The event will kick off at 7.30am on June 16th in the Round Room of the Mansion House and tickets for the event are limited to Marketing Society members plus 1 guest (€50 for members and €70 for non-members).

As part of the Marketing Society’s membership drive, a special 20% discount on membership is available for those joining and booking this event. Membership costs €150 for individuals, €375 for corporate membership and €50 for students and those in their first five years in the industry.
