INM Digital has updated its independent.ie iOS app to provide users with new levels of functionality as well as some new features.
Version 5.5 of the app includes a new chronological news feed that shows news as it breaks, a dedicated video section, a new look and feel that includes bigger images and improved share buttons as well as improved load-times.
According to Steve Dempsey, Head of Product Management, INM, : “This is a considerable facelift that makes the content from Ireland’s biggest news site look even better on Apple smartphones. Our aim is to give our users the stories they want, whenever they want them, in a format that looks great. The independent.ie app serves the news to over 200,000 users each month; with this new release, we look forward to bringing our award winning content to even more users on a monthly basis.”
